7. SMS / Text Messaging Terms of Service


Consent to Receive Messages

By providing your mobile phone number through our website, intake forms, or patient portal, you consent to receive SMS/text messages from Noema Wellness for purposes including:

• Appointment reminders and confirmations

• Scheduling or rescheduling notifications

• Administrative communications related to your care

Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of receiving treatment.


PHI and SMS Messaging

Text messages may include limited information, such as appointment details. Detailed clinical or sensitive medical information will not be sent via SMS.

SMS messaging is not a fully secure form of communication. By opting in, you acknowledge and accept these risks.


No Sharing of Mobile Information

No mobile information, opt-in data, or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile information is used solely to communicate directly with you regarding your care or the administrative operations of Noema Wellness in compliance with HIPAA, TCPA, and CTIA guidelines. We do not sell, rent, or disclose mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information, except as required by law or to support essential healthcare operations through HIPAA-compliant service providers.


Opt-Out

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message or by contacting our office. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.
